Ingonish Whale Watching Tours

Captain Chester Whitty, a life long resident of Ingonish Beach, and his son Jake will host you on this spectacular adventure.  As a seasoned veteran of the sea having fished lobster and snow crab for more than 40 years Captain Chester enjoys sharing his experiences with travelers.  View the breathtaking coastline, watch for majestic bald eagles as they soar overhead while exploring the ocean in search of marine life.  Sightings during the tour may include:  grey seals, minke whales, humpback whales, fin whales, common and white sided dolphins, pilot whales, harbour porpoise, blue fin tuna,  puffins,  leatherback turtles and magnificent scenery!

Zodiac Tours

The zodiac is a 28ft RIB powered by 2 -200 HP Yamaha motors.   She can accommodate 12 passengers with bench seating and sits close to the water for an exhilarating ride.  Life jackets are provided for this excursion and all ages are welcome.

Operating daily tours June thru October :

9:30 am, 12 pm, 2:30 pm and 5pm.

Approximately 1.5 hours in duration. Passengers should arrive 15 min prior to departure.

Please note* All tours are dependent upon favourable weather conditions and minimum passenger requirements.

ZODIAC RATES: 

Adults: $65 taxes included

Children under 12 years of age:  $50 taxes included
